Dr. Smoothie Brands was founded in 1997 on the concept of providing healthy smoothie products, addressing the popular demand for real fruit with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Dr. Smoothie soon gained notoriety as the source for nutritious and delicious healthy specialty beverages.

This corporate responsibility became the Dr. Smoothie mantra…to be the source for the healthiest, most delicious and nutritionally sound specialty beverages in the business today.

We are pioneers of the 100% Crushed^® whole fruit smoothie concentrates containing 100% Crushed whole fruit, juice and a super anti-oxidant vitamin and mineral panel that meets FDA guidelines with over three servings of fruit per 16oz beverage.

Our Café Essentials line follows our “everything with a healthy twist” mindset. Café Essentials in general contain less fat and sugar than the competition. We were the first company to reduce calories, to reduce fat, have no trans fat and to limit any artificial ingredients. In 2009 we are re-introducing the all-natural frappes like we had back in 2001.

Dr. Smoothie Brands develops products for health clubs, spas, estheticians and gyms with its sports beverage line; Amino Repair, Amino Hydrate, Fresh Fact, Bio Bar nutrition bars and SmoothieCeuticals, our supplement and protein line.
